LONDON, August 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Abdulelah Al Shaikh, CEO of Saudi Home Loans (SHL), was delighted to have his achievements recognised in the Business Worldwide Magazine (BWM) 2017 CEO Awards. Al Shaikh has achieved the top spot in the category 'Best CEO - Financial Services Industry Saudi Arabia'

In the awarding process BWM praised Al Shaikh's accomplishments during his time as the head of SHL; one of the leading finance companies in Saudi Arabia and the first to specialise in home loans. The local residential property market has seen rapid growth over recent years, and SHL has gained a strong reputation as being a go-to agency for citizens and expats looking to purchase homes in the area.
The Islamic Banking Sector is now one of the biggest and most important industries in Saudi, and it operates differently from many other parts of the world. One notable point is that financial institutions are prohibited from charging fees and interest on loans. SHL has grown a strong network of satisfied customers, and Al Shaikh puts this down to the company's commitment to exceptional customer care and service. "We understand that buying a home is often the largest financial commitment someone will ever make in their life, so our aim is to make that decision, and the process that follows it, as easy and stress-free as possible" he told us.
SHL was one of the first companies to be granted with a Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) licence and now operates with a team of 40 Home Finance Consultants who are highly trained and experienced in helping people find the most suitable finance option based on their individual circumstances.
A BWM spokesman said, "The property market in Saudi Arabia has had a huge impact on the local economy, and we're delighted to be able to commend someone who has personally worked so hard and achieved so much in this area. Abdulelah Al Shaikh has been a leading force in the industry and he and his team have allowed many people to finance homes, from apartments and holiday homes to substantial villas."
