Certus Announces Appointment of Ryan Marsh as New CEO

Certus today announced the appointment of a new CEO to further build and deliver its mission to unleash potential and help learners achieve new possibilities.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. and ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Certus, a leading provider of workforce training and certification solutions, today announced the appointment of Ryan Marsh as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 29, 2025. Marsh succeeds John Comly, who is stepping down after eight years as CEO and member of the Board of Directors. Comly will remain with the company in an advisory capacity to support a smooth leadership transition.

Marsh brings more than two decades of experience driving growth across technology-enabled and sales-intensive businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at ADI, where he was responsible for driving global revenue growth. His background includes senior leadership roles at Snap One, McKinsey & Company, Red Ventures, Coca-Cola, American Tire Distributors and Stanley Black & Decker, spanning both public and private equity–backed environments.
