CESG Publishes New Guidance for Good for Enterprise and Good Dynamics in the UK

LONDON, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Technology™, the leader in secure mobility, today announced that CESG,  the UK Government's National Technical Authority for Information Assurance, has just released 'Security Guidance for Good Dynamics and Good for Enterprise'. This follows recent security awards, including Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 Augmented (EAL4+) certification in the USA, Australia and France.  As of November 2013, only Good for Enterprise and Good Dynamics have received CESG Guidance for third party secure messaging and collaboration software residing on smartphones and tablets.

Building upon CESG's platform guidance, which was released on 14 October, the Guidance outlines a risk assessment for both Good for Enterprise and Good Dynamics. The Guidance document is a risk/mitigation assessment which, if followed, enables deployments to be made to the new Official Level.  More information about the new classification policy is available from the Cabinet Office.
