The work that this particular organization does on a daily basis is amazing and does so without any recognition or fanfare. Heidi's Heroes' submissions will be accepted from 1^st through the 21^st of every month.

This contest will give pet lovers the opportunity to nominate a hero by submitting a photo with a brief write up. The individual who receives the most votes will be named 'Heidi's Hero.'  It's Garcia's hope that by creating this contest, it will shine a spotlight on the people and organizations that make a difference in the treatment or care of adoption animals.
