Change Healthcare and WebMD Settle Data Licensing Litigation
Settlement enables focus on creating value for customers and American healthcare system
NASHVILLE, Tenn. and NEW YORK, Jan. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Change Healthcare and WebMD Health Corp. have settled their litigation regarding the right to license certain commercial data that was licensed to WebMD by Change Healthcare. Under terms of the settlement, Change Healthcare has the exclusive right to license the data that was the subject of the litigation.
The parties agreed that the settlement enables them to return to normal relations, focus on their respective customers, and continue to work toward improving healthcare in this country.
