LONGWOOD, Fla., Sept. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Feeding Children Everywhere and Change This World, two organizations that in five years have successfully mobilized 200,000 volunteers to package 40 million healthy meals for children and families around the world, have merged to multiply their effectiveness.
Rallying under the banner of Feeding Children Everywhere, they will reach 100 million meals in the next 24 months alone.

"What we're seeing is one plus one equals exponentially more," explains Don Campbell, founder of Feeding Children Everywhere.

Both men say that their story is indicative of many other nonprofits and NGOs: Their organizations were successfully working toward similar goals, albeit separately.
"We were literally right down the street from one another … less than a mile apart," Mennenga recalls. "I would drive by Feeding Children Everywhere on my way to Change This World. Finally, we realized it made zero sense to be apart."
Campbell and Mennenga are hoping this will become the "new normal" for nonprofits succeeding at the same thing. "Why not cut costs and put the money back into helping people?" Campbell asks. Joining forces means every dollar is going to go a lot further and help more people than ever before, he adds: "The same dollar does so much more."
The goal of Feeding Children Everywhere is literally to change this world, both men note. By partnering and collaborating with food distribution partners and working with vetted NGOs, orphanages and schools by providing them with much-needed healthy meals, Feeding Children Everywhere hopes to help break the cycle of hopelessness and poverty starting here in the U.S. and abroad in Africa, Central America and Haiti. "We provide the food, they provide the education. And an education changes everything," Campbell says.
