Chelten House Names Jason Dabrow CEO, Ushering in Fourth Generation of Family Leadership

Family-owned food manufacturer builds on 80-year legacy and tenfold growth over two decades as it expands across retail and foodservice

SWEDESBORO, N.J., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chelten House Products, a fourth-generation, family-owned food manufacturer with more than 80 years of history, today announced that Jason Dabrow has been named chief executive officer. As part of this leadership evolution, his father, Steve Dabrow, will continue as chairman.

The planned transition comes as the South Jersey-based company builds on its position as a leading manufacturer of premium and organic private label sauces and dressings, employing more than 500 people and operating more than 500,000 square feet of production and warehousing space. Historically running behind the scenes, Chelten House develops, manufactures and distributes custom recipes nationwide for leading grocery retailers and restaurant brands. Its products are sold in more than 30,000 stores across the U.S., all under its customers' own brand names.

Jason steps into the CEO role after serving as president and chief operating officer since 2020, a period in which the company grew more than 50%. Since joining the family business more than 20 years ago and beginning his career on the plant floor, he has assumed leadership responsibility across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales and people operations, including leading the build and launch of the company's first major expansion, a greenfield operation in Nevada.

Sorensen steps into the role after a decade in senior operational leadership at Chelten House, following his experience as an executive with a publicly traded decorative packaging company.
