Partnership Formed as Australia Prepares to Adopt New Workplace Exposure Limits on 1 December 2026

The partnership combines ChemDAQ's expertise in continuous monitoring of hazardous chemical vapors with Proline Medical's extensive experience in sterilization, endoscopy, infection prevention and healthcare compliance. Through this collaboration, Proline Medical will offer ChemDAQ's sensor technology and continuous monitoring systems for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and peracetic acid (PAA) to its customers across Australia.

The timing follows Australia's move to implement new Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) on 1 December 2026, which halves the eight-hour time-weighted average limit for hydrogen peroxide to 0.5 ppm and introduces a 0.4 ppm peak limit for peracetic acid. Together, the companies aim to provide sterilization and reprocessing teams with objective, real-time information that helps them better understand their work environment, make informed decisions, and reduce chemical exposure risk.
