Acquisition brings one of the industry's most recognized independent creative shops into Chemistry and marks the opening of its fifth U.S. office

PITTSBURGH and BOSTON, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Independent agency Chemistry today announced its acquisition of Boston-based creative agency Colossus, adding award-winning creative and design talent to the agency and bringing Chemistry into the Boston market. The acquisition strengthens Chemistry's design capabilities and establishes Chemistry Boston, the agency's fifth U.S. office.

The deal brings together two agencies that have built their reputations on standout creative work, entrepreneurial cultures and senior talent that stays close to clients. Both have the accolades to match. Among their many honors, Colossus was named an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year three times, earning honors for Healthcare in 2026, B2B in 2025 and Design in 2024.
