Chevron Lummus Global and Neste advance partnership to convert lignocellulosic waste to renewable fuels

Partnership targets scalable solutions for renewable fuel production from biomass

HOUSTON, June 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) and Neste, the world's leading producer of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel, announced their progress in developing new technology for converting lignocellulosic biomass into high-quality, lower-emission renewable fuels. Through close collaboration at CLG's state-of-the-art R&D facility in the U.S., Neste and CLG have successfully demonstrated proof of concept for converting lignocellulosic waste into renewable fuels, with highly promising initial results.
