Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria is owned and operated by first-time franchise owner, Tanya Johnson. A lifelong resident of Victoria and active member of the Riverside Church, Johnson spent 33 years working in a local dental office before pursuing franchise ownership. Ironically, she wasn't a big fan of chicken salad prior to trying Chicken Salad Chick in 2023. Not only did she fall in love with the food, but was drawn to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and resonated with the brand's mission to "Spread Joy, Enrich Lives and Serve Others®." She had been searching for a meaningful career that would allow her to give back to her fellow residents, so she and her husband, Lewis, jumped at the opportunity to become franchise owners. The Johnsons believe their strong work ethics, community ties and passion for serving others will help make Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria a neighborhood favorite. Their oldest daughter, Alyssa, will also serve as the restaurant's general manager.

"The first time I stepped into a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant, I was captivated by the welcoming atmosphere, exceptional food and the staff's hospitality. That's the same kind of experience I want to bring to Victoria," said Tanya Johnson, franchise owner of Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria. "Our community is ready for some new and fresh dining experiences, and we're confident our restaurant will become a place where friends and families can spend time and enjoy quality food together. The community has already shown their excitement and support, and we're thrilled to open our doors in just a few short weeks!"

Chicken Salad Chick is known for its dozen-plus variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors, fresh sides, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts. The new Victoria restaurant offers in-restaurant dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.

"Texas continues to be a key growth market for us, and entering Victoria County is an exciting next step as we continue to strengthen our presence there," said Scott Deviney, CEO and president of Chicken Salad Chick. "We've had tremendous momentum in 2026, with significant growth still on the horizon heading into 2027. There's never been a more exciting time to join the Chicken Salad Chick family, and we can't wait to see the positive impact Tanya and her team make in the Victoria community."

Giving back to the community is an important focus for the Victoria team and the Chicken Salad Chick brand, which established the CSC Foundation to support CURE Childhood Cancer and local food banks with fundraisers throughout the year. As part of pre-opening Friends & Family events in Victoria, the restaurant will be raising money for Riverside Cares, a monthly outreach program run by Riverside Church to support community members through food donations, diaper and school supply drives, and more.

Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria will be open Monday – Saturday from 10:30am – 8pm. For more information on giveaways and specials, visit the Victoria restaurant's Facebook. Visit www.chickensaladchick.com, and follow Chicken Salad Chick on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news and trends.
