Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota forms new Legacy Advisor group

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota announced today the creation of a Legacy Advisor group intended to educate Children's stakeholders and community members about the importance of legacy planning and endowment to support pediatric health for future generations. Twenty members of the new group were chosen via nominations from Children's Foundation Board and referrals from Children's benefactors.

On a volunteer basis, members of the Legacy Advisor group will draw on their business and community leadership experience, and will work with Children's board and gift planning team to share best practices and estate planning strategies. 

"The goal of Children's Legacy Advisors is to inspire philanthropists who are eager to ensure their financial security and family legacy, while investing in the health of children for years to come," said Greg Goven, retired senior vice president of C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. and chairman of Children's Foundation board.
