Chip Young Rejoins Presidian Hotels & Resorts As Chief Operating Officer

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Presidian Hotels & Resorts ("Presidian"), a premier hotel investment and management company based in San Antonio, today announced that Chip Young has rejoined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO Mr. Young is responsible for the operations of all hotels in the growing Presidian portfolio as well as directing the strategic positioning of the company.

Mr. Young is a respected hospitality industry veteran with a career spanning over 35 years, including time previously spent with Presidian serving as the company's VP of Operations. Chip began his career with Marriott where he spent a total of 17 years in various roles. He also served as a Regional VP of Operations for White Lodging and held similar roles with La Quinta Inns and Suites and Prime Hospitality. Immediately prior to rejoining Presidian, Mr. Young served as the Chief Operating Officer for BC Lynd Hospitality in San Antonio. 

Mr. Young's experience includes sustained success in all segments of the business and extensive involvement with quality brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and Starwood.  He has an unwavering commitment to guest service and satisfaction and through a focused and balanced approach he fosters strong relationships and superior returns for owners, investors, brands and lenders.
