Christian Universities Online Publishes Top 50 Bible Colleges 2016

The methodology behind this ranking began with schools that are members of The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), or accredited members of The Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). Theological affiliates of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) were also considered. Public data for these schools in the following categories was then assessed: 1) faculty-to-student ratio; 2) percent of full-time beginning undergraduates receiving grant or scholarship aid; 3) selectivity; 4) overall retention rate; and 5) overall graduation rate. Each category received equal weight in calculating the final ranking.

Anna-Rebekah Orr, site editor, says that the goal of the ranking is to highlight schools that offer the most to students according to a broad set of criteria. "This list," Orr says, "features schools whose main focus is to offer degrees related to Bible or ministry, and who excel in the areas of selectivity, personal attention given to students, overall student satisfaction, and readily available financial aid."
