Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti, Esteban Gutierrez, Taylor Hicks All Appearing At New Hospitality Venue as Formula 1™ Returns To Austin, TX, Destination

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Circuit of The Americas Experiences will introduce the "Legends Club," a newly-minted, multi-faceted spectator hospitality venue for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX. The world's most prestigious motorsports competition returns to the Austin Circuit after it was recently awarded the 2012 "Sports Event of the Year" by Sports Business Journal.

The new 2013 programming inside the Legends Club features a private Taylor Hicks concert and appearances by motorsports icons Mario Andretti, Jackie Stewart and Sauber F1 team's Esteban Gutierrez. This in-circuit climate-controlled hospitality venue will be host to a variety of events and access is only available through Official programing via Circuit of The Americas Experiences.

Immediately following Thursday afternoon's exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the state-of-the-art Circuit of The Americas™ facility, a private party will be hosted for Circuit of The Americas Experiences' guests in the Legends Club. Heavy hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, a live performance by American Idol® Winner, Taylor Hicks, and a meet and greet with racing legend and Circuit of The Americas™ ambassador, Mario Andretti, are all set to kick off the F1 race weekend events.

The Legend's Club will reopen Friday morning for the VIP event, "Lunch with a Legend," featuring
Formula 1 World Champion and safety advocate, Sir Jackie Stewart. Patrons of Circuit of The Americas Experiences will indulge in a gourmet lunch and open bar and will be able to participate in a question and answer session with this three –time Formula 1 World Champion.

The Legends Club will remain open Saturday and Sunday featuring interactive experiences, race simulators, simulcast television coverage, Texas-style food and premium bars. A special appearance by Formula 1 rookie driver Esteban Gutierrez of Team Sauber, one of the sport's promising stars, is also scheduled to appear in the Legends Club on Saturday as one of a host of sports and entertainment celebrities expected to be on hand.

An additional level of red velvet experiences continues with the newly created VIP trackside Skyboxes, created for the Celebrity experience. Complete with trackside seating and a viewing platform, the Skyboxes are strategically placed for privileged sightlines and easy access to the Legends Club hospitality venue.  Circuit of The Americas Experiences' guests will have the chance to mix and mingle with F1 celebrities in the Legends Club or through a VIP ticket to the Celebrity Skybox.

Official programming includes different access levels to the Legends Club, with 21 Official Ticket Package options (starting at $949, Legends Club package access starting at $1,749) for fans interested in a special experience for the F1 season's penultimate event.
