CITE 2017 Press Conference in Las Vegas - Witnessing the Emergence of Chinese Intelligent Technology

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The press conference of the fifth China Information Technology Expo (CITE 2017) will be held on Jan 6th, in Hall 11, FORUM TOWER, OCTAVIUS at Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. The conference will fully demonstrate CITE 2017, as the most influential information technology event and a national class platform, will initiate the era of Chinese intelligent technology. As main leaders of the organizing committee who come from China, Mr. Wu Shengwu, Deputy Director-general of Electronic Information Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and Mr. Hu Xiaoqing, Deputy Director of the Economy, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, will deliver speeches on the development of information technology industry in China and Shenzhen respectively. Mr. Chen Wenhai, General Manager of China Electronic Appliance Corporation (CEAC), Deputy Director and Secretary General of CITE Organizing Committee office will also introduce the preparation and organization of the event.
The China Information Technology Expo (CITE) has been successfully held each year since 2013, which accumulatively attracted approximately 4,000 IT-related enterprises to participate and about 400,000 audience members to visit. It has become a national platform to demonstrate the latest products and technologies in the global information technology industry.
The fifth China Information Technology Expo (CITE 2017), as an indicator of the development of China's information technology industry, will be held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Shenzhen, China on April 9-11, 2017.
CITE 2017 will highlight the keyword -Intelligent Information Industry, and focus on creating theme zones representing the direction of future development: Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality, Semiconductor, Intelligent Networked Automobile, Intelligent Manufacturing & Robots and zones 'Encourage people to do business creatively and drive innovation' will be the core exhibition zones of this Expo in which leading enterprises from China's IT industry, such as Huawei, Hisense, Haier, TCL, iFLYTEK, CEC, Tencent, FANUC Robotics, SIASUN, Goertek, and SAIC Motors, will show their own extraordinary talent, showing the rise of China in multiple fields of science and technology.
CITE will focus on the introduction to six core pavilions. The Artificial Intelligence pavilion with an area of about 5,000 square meters, built by CITE and iFLYTEK together, will be set up in Hall 5, which will present the products and technological achievements of ecosystem enterprises in Artificial Intelligence under the theme of A New World with Artificial Intelligence by focusing on Artificial Intelligence.
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality pavilion has an area of 3,000 square meters. There will be nearly a hundred enterprises from the industry chain of VR/AR hardware and software to exhibit their products and many investment organizations focusing on VR/AR to provide service for those who devote themselves to the VR/AR industry.
The semiconductor pavilion will be a core zone of the fifth CITE, which will exhibit the latest products and technology of the semiconductor industry chain of China and the world, the leading enterprises in relevant industries (for example, integrated circuit chips), including Mediatek, CR Microelectroincs, Huahong Grace, and Wuhan XMC will exhibit their products in this zone.
The Intelligent Networked Automobile pavilion will show the future trends and path of intelligent networked automobile based on the fields of semiconductors, sensor, intelligent manufacturing, new energy source, and artificial intelligence, mobile Internet and Internet of things, and high-level forum and seminars will be held to discuss relevant information about intelligent networked automobiles.
In the Intelligent Manufacturing and Robots pavilion, FANUC, SIASUN, Foxconn and UBTECH will present their achievements of intelligent manufacturing and robots in the field of software, hardware and application.
CITE 2017 also covers governmental policies and aims to become an international site for science and technology and an industry incubation park, creating an authoritative platform for makers to present themselves, communicate with others and raise funds.
Under the focus of the global consumer electronics industry, the China Video Industry Association (CVIA), one of the significant partners of CITE, will reveal the winners of Chinese Brand Awards with the conference guests. Several outstanding home appliance enterprises from China will receive the award.
