VANCOUVER, April 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarius Mobile Health, a digital healthcare company, is demonstrating its wireless, handheld ultrasound scanners this week at the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) Congress in Toronto, Ontario from April 25-28, 2017.

The three-day event is a meeting of global experts to exchange knowledge and best practices on pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency medical care, disaster health and response, and emergency public health and safety.

With point and shoot capabilities, medical professionals need only to launch the app, select the scanner, select a body part and are ready to begin. From there they have the option to zoom, freeze, and save.

Clarius ultrasound scanners are useful for physicians to help triage critically ill patients and to diagnose problems such as lung collapse, bleeding in the abdomen and broken bones and dislocations.
