Schmidt brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience building sales teams and driving revenue growth at prominent SaaS companies including WebEx, HighTail, PivotLink, and CoreMetrics.
Schmidt has joined ClearSlide to oversee all aspects of the company's sales function including its corporate, mid-market and enterprise sales teams. In recent years ClearSlide has more than doubled its client-base with leading companies like Comcast Spotlight, LinkedIn, MasterCard, Thomson Reuters and thousands of other companies. Jeff will leverage his SaaS sales leadership experience to continually improve ClearSlide's go-to-market motion and expand its successful customer base.

Prior to joining ClearSlide, Schmidt was most recently HighTail's (the collaboration company previously named YouSendIt) Enterprise GM and led its global go-to-market strategy for sales, marketing, services and support. Before HighTail, Jeff was Chief Revenue Officer at PivotLink, providing its retail customers business intelligence to help make data-driven decisions. Schmidt also previously ran global sales and services for CoreMetrics, which was acquired by IBM. Jeff was also a former senior sales executive with WebEx prior to its acquisition by Cisco. At WebEx, Schmidt was responsible for more than half the $300+ million in annual recurring revenue being generate by the business.
