Stanfield is a proven construction and development professional with more than 19 years of expertise in multiple real estate asset classes. Prior to founding Braemar Partners, Stanfield was the Vice President of Project Development for a national senior living developer, Formation Development Group. During his ten years with Formation, he was actively involved in the development of over fourteen Senior Living communities totaling almost 2,000 new units with an aggregate value of over $500 million.

In addition to development of ground up new construction product, Stanfield is also an expert in identifying and evaluating value-add opportunities associated with the repositioning of existing product.  In this capacity, he has helped facilitate the acquisition and redevelopment of over 579 units of Senior Housing.
