Cloudwords Names Richard Harpham as President and CEO
The company appoints seasoned software executive Ken Bado as a member of the Board of Directors; adds Amazon Web Services as its newest global enterprise customer.
SAN FRANCISCO, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloudwords today announced it has appointed Richard Harpham as President and CEO, and named Ken Bado, former EVP of Sales and Services for Autodesk, as a member of the Cloudwords Board of Directors. The company also announced Amazon Web Services (AWS), TASER International and Tektronics as its newest customers, joining Cloudwords' growing list of global enterprise organizations that are leveraging its technology to accelerate the expansion of multilingual global marketing efforts.
With more than 20 years of experience launching products into global markets, as well as early start-up ventures that have successfully attracted both investment and eventual acquisition, Harpham will build upon Cloudwords' established momentum as an essential solution for global marketers. Prior to Cloudwords, Harpham held executive positions at Autodesk, M-SIX, and Calgary Scientific. He previously held the role of vice president of sales and marketing at Cloudwords.

From 2002 through 2010, Bado served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Services for design, engineering and entertainment software company Autodesk. During this time, Autodesk grew from $800 million to more than $2.3 billion in annual revenue.
