ClubCorp Acquires Three New York-Area Golf Properties

DALLAS, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, today announced the acquisition of three golf properties located in the eastern area of Long Island, New York – The Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack, The Hamlet Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mt. Sinai, and The Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club in Hauppauge. ClubCorp has put together a multi-million-dollar improvement plan that includes renovation projects at all three clubs.

The purchase of the three premier golf properties, from the Holiday Organization, marks a dramatic increase in ClubCorp's presence in the Northeast. The clubs will complement ClubCorp's portfolio of more than 150 golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs, and alumni clubs which, although in 25 states, mainly are located in California, Texas,  Florida, and Georgia. Currently, The Athletic & Swim Club at Equitable Center in New York City is the sole New York club in the ClubCorp family.

Members of all three clubs will have the option of participating in ClubCorp's industry-leading Signature Gold program, which offers complimentary golf and dining at a network of more than 200 owned or affiliate clubs around the country. Members with Signature Gold benefits also receive access to TicketLine, a personal concierge service that offers premium tickets for the best concerts, sporting events, and Broadway shows in the New York area and throughout the country.

The Hamlet Golf & Country Club, a private club, and Willow Creek and Wind Watch, semi-private clubs, all offer exceptional golf courses with practice facilities and stately, elegant clubhouses featuring dining rooms, bar and lounge areas, and spacious ballrooms.
