ClubCorp's President and CEO, Named Most Powerful Person in Golf by Golf Inc. Magazine

DALLAS, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Eric Affeldt, president and CEO of ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, has been ranked No. 1 on Golf Inc. magazine's Most Powerful People in Golf list. Affeldt jumped from No. 4 in 2009 to the top spot on the 2010 list, which is based on the influence of an individual and their organization to positively impact the golf industry.

Affeldt has taken a strong approach towards strategic growth this year, completing the acquisition of The Country Club of the South, in Johns Creek, Georgia in June of 2010, and focusing on expanded family friendly initiatives. Affeldt told Golf Inc., "I think we are in a good position now to grow more aggressively and add more properties."
