CME Group and BarclayHedge Honor Managed Futures Leaders at Fifth Annual Managed Futures Pinnacle Awards
CHICAGO, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, and BarclayHedge, recognized managed futures industry leaders at the fifth annual Managed Futures Pinnacle Awards last night.
The winners of this year's Pinnacle Achievement Award are Richard Dennis, independent trader, and William Eckhardt, Chairman and CEO of Eckhardt Trading Company. In the mid-1980s, Dennis and Eckhardt developed trading systems and techniques which they taught to groups of beginning traders, known as the "Turtle Traders". Their experiment proved that succeeding in trading futures was a skill that can be taught, and their influential research and teachings have had an enormous impact on the broader financial services industry.
