Codeverse Secures $10M Funding, Expands State-Of-The-Art Kids Coding Studio To Wilmette & Naperville

CHICAGO, Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Announced today, Codeverse, the first interactive classroom and platform designed to teach children ages 6 to 12 the crucial skill of coding, is expanding its reach by bringing two new cutting-edge studios to the Chicago area, Wilmette and Naperville. The new studios, opening in Fall/Winter 2018, will offer after-school and weekend classes as well as weeklong camps, bringing the brand's technology to new audiences as the team works to accomplish their mission of teaching a billion kids to code. In July 2017, Codeverse also launched KidScript, its proprietary kid-friendly coding language, used to teach the fundamentals of coding through the studios daily classroom and camp programming. With KidScript, kids as young as 6 can build their own apps and games, as well as program hardware within the companies interactive studios, including concert-hall lights, speakers, TV's and robotic arms.
