Coldstream Enhances Leadership Structure to Support Recent Growth and Future Expansion

Rapidly Scaling Financial Services Firm Shifts Structure to Address Unique Opportunities of a Non-PE-Backed Growth Strategy

SEATTLE, July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Coldstream today announced it has enhanced its leadership team structure to improve processes, and refine roles and responsibilities, as the company successfully reached its three-year growth goals well ahead of schedule.

Kevin Fitzwilson, formerly the Managing Shareholder, has been named Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he will continue to be accountable to the shareholders and board of directors, oversee the implementation of the firm's long-term strategy and work directly with the firm's leadership and complementary business line teams.

Additional Leadership Changes

Coldstream streamlined its senior leadership team and developed new roles.

• Natalie Straub, President, Wealth Management & Team Experience
• Continuing to collaborate with wealth management team leaders as the firm's accountability partner, Straub will oversee team member experience and the Human Resources team.  
• Josh Harris, President, M&A
• As President, M&A, Harris will continue to lead the firm's Marketing and Business Development teams.
• David Christian, Chief Growth Officer
• As Chief Growth Officer, Christian will partner closely with Straub, Harris and wealth management Team Leads on organic growth initiatives, wealth management team coaching, and development. He will also lead annual growth initiatives and strategic projects for these teams.
• Anne Marie Stonich, Chief Client Experience Officer
• Stonich will focus on service delivery and overall client experience by developing a more consistent process for client engagement, wealth management practices and the "Coldstream Way" with regard to client experience.
• Matt Sonnen, Chief Operating Officer
• Sonnen will continue to lead the Operations, Centralized Client Services, Business Integration, IT and Data, and Compliance teams.

Coldstream's Sustained and Significant Growth

Earlier this month, Coldstream announced that the $2 billion Portland, Oregon-based RIA - Cable Hill Partners - had joined the firm, enhancing Coldstream's presence in the Pacific Northwest and ability to provide retirement plan services to its institutional clients.

In January of 2025, Coldstream announced a successful merger with Harrison Berkman Claypool & Guard and its $500 million AUM RIA, HBC Financial Services. This combination enhanced Coldstream's tax service offering, which the firm launched after its merger with Seidman Capital Group and Hersman Serles Almond, LLC in October 2023. These services are available as part of Coldstream's Tax & Consulting service line.

Recently, the firm renamed its investment banking offering to Coldstream Capital Partners as part of a larger effort to deliver a complete set of financial services for individuals and families, as well as institutional clients under the Coldstream brand.
