Colorado Calvert Academy Appoints Principal of School

BALTIMORE, Md., March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Calvert Education Services is delighted to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Davis, Principal, for Colorado Calvert Academy, a new virtual public charter school slated to open in 2010.

A long-term advocate for alternatives and choice in education, Ms. Davis is a veteran educator with a commitment to serving families and individual student needs.  Among her many accomplishments are serving on the leadership team of the Douglas County School District's online program, serving as a consultant to the Colorado Charter School Institute and working as a curriculum development specialist and master teacher for Aventa Learning.  Ms. Davis holds a BA in Political Science from Vassar College and an MA in Education from The Claremont Graduate University.
