Colorado Football to Install a Premium AstroTurf System for 2025 Season

The project is slated to begin in late spring, following the renowned Bolder Boulder 10k race on May 26. This timeline ensures the field will be ready ahead of a series of high-profile concerts planned for the Fourth of July weekend. The upgraded artificial turf will offer:

The decision to move back to an artificial surface was not taken lightly; however, CU's athletic department determined it was critical for flexibility in scheduling and field reliability. With the Buffaloes hoping to capitalize on the opportunity to host late-season games under the new College Football Playoff format, AstroTurf's technology meets the program's current and future needs.
