LIVERMORE, Calif., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast will open a new Xfinity Store located at 580 River Street, Suite D, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, on Monday, January 26, 2015. The Santa Cruz store is the latest store opening from Comcast, which has been transforming its customer centers across the country to make the experience better and more convenient for customers.
The newly designed store elevates the customer experience with easily accessible product interaction. There will be XFINITY product demonstrations throughout the store for consumers to test drive. Another onsite customer experience enhancement is the availability of billing kiosks where customers can scan their bill and pay by cash, check or credit; eliminating the wait line altogether. Future store enhancements, scheduled to roll out this year, include an online appointment booking system and text-ahead queuing, allowing customers to enter the service queue from their mobile device while on their way to the store.
The new Santa Cruz Xfinity Store will have 10 sales consultants who are trained to assist customers with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The new Xfinity retail store will replace the current Comcast store located at 123 Doyle Street which will close on Saturday, January 24, 2015.
