Common Networks Collaborates With Facebook To Bring Ultra High-Speed Internet Into The Home

SAN FRANCISCO and BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Common Networks today announced that it is delivering ultra high-speed internet service to residential customers using Facebook's Terragraph millimeter-wave technology. Common is the world's first and only commercially available, graph-based network delivering 5G internet service, and is now available in Alameda, California.

Launched in 2017, Common pioneered the use of graph-based technology to deliver ultra high-speed internet service. Common is building a 5G network based on open and scalable platforms, deploying millimeter wave and microwave technology on open spectrum. Terragraph uses the open 60 Ghz millimeter-wave frequency.
