Community Bank of Tri-County Named Official Bank Of The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs

WALDORF, Md., April 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of Tri-County and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs jointly announced today their partnership naming Community Bank of Tri-County the Official Bank of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.  The Blue Crabs, members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Association playing at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, Maryland, will host the 2013 Opening Day game April 24. In addition to the many fans present Opening Day, the Blue Crabs will enjoy the support of the entire Community Bank team.

The announcement by the two organizations formalizes a joint commitment begun at the inception of the ballpark. The partnership will be highlighted to spectators in a variety of fun and engaging ways.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, and play at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, Maryland.  The franchise will enter its 6^th season on April 18, coming off of the team's fourth consecutive playoff appearance. The Blue Crabs and Regency Furniture Stadium will also host the 2013 Atlantic League All-Star Celebration featuring "Circurious" presented by Turkey Hill on Tuesday, July 9.  The Atlantic League All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, July 10 presented by The Communities of St. Charles.
