Concurrent's Jim Denenny Named a Winner of the 2011 Innovator Award for Mobile Services at TechAmerica's 53rd Annual David Packard Medal of Achievement and Innovator Awards

ATLANTA, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR), a global leader in video and media data solutions, announced that Jim Denenny, Concurrent's general manager and vice president of online media solutions, has won the 2011 Innovator Award for Mobile Services. Denenny was one of only nine individuals to be recognized at the 53rd Annual David Packard Medal of Achievement and Innovator Awards Annual Dinner in Menlo Park, Calif. yesterday.

Denenny joined the Concurrent team in 2010. He has more than 20 years of industry experience in developing technology solutions, focusing in the areas of user experience, value-added applications and end-to-end commercial content delivery services for the television, Internet and mobile environments.  Prior to joining Concurrent, Denenny was vice president and general manager of Americas for ANT Software Limited. Today, he is responsible for market development and product management for the company's online media solutions division. He earned a bachelor's in engineering science and mechanics from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Since 1959, TechAmerica has awarded the David Packard Medal of Achievement, their highest award, to honor significant lifetime contributors and pioneers of the high tech industry. To recognize current leaders, TechAmerica added the Innovator Awards, which commend experts in different industry segments for their contributions to the technology industry.
