MIAMI, Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Warrior Girl Corp (Pink Sheets: WRGL) is pleased to announce that its development of programs for prospective student management and student retention communities have resulted in new business with higher education providers. These programs are in line with WRGL's mission of helping as many students achieve an improved life and better career prospects by attaining a complete education. Offering services to colleges and universities allows WRGL to diversify its revenue stream from a primarily retail only model to include more business to business revenue.
As part of its marketing efforts to the higher education sector, WRGL representatives met with some of the more than 4,000 participants at the Affiliate Summit conference August 21-23 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. Affiliate Summit is the premier affiliate marketing conference focusing on the latest industry trends and provided the company an opportunity to network with some of the leading marketing entities in the world.
Company representatives immediately followed by attending LeadsCon, also at the Hilton in New York, from Aug 24-25. LeadsCon is the pioneering conference for online direct marketing and the broader customer acquisition industry, with a strong emphasis on the education sector. Importantly, there were major education industry marketing providers and buyers in attendance which WRGL representatives met with and will be working closely with in the near future. Additional good news is that the conference produced contracts for new business that will start in coming months once further development has been completed.
WRGL's purpose in attending both conferences was to offer new services to the education industry at large, specifically new aggregators, colleges and universities. These additional offerings will supplement WRGL's other endeavors in online education and the company anticipates significant growth in these areas once the new platforms have been fully developed.
