Congruex Appoints Kevin Rabbitt To Board Of Directors; Charles Marsh And Ian O'Brien Join Executive Team

BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Congruex, a national end-to-end provider of design, engineering, construction and maintenance services to broadband service providers, today announced the appointment of Kevin Rabbitt to the Company's Board of Directors. Congruex also announced that Charles Marsh and Ian O'Brien will join the company's executive team as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Information Officer, respectively.

Kevin Rabbitt joins a distinguished group of business leaders on the Congruex board, with diverse skills and expertise in technology, media, engineering and construction. Mr. Rabbitt currently serves as Chairman and CEO of NEP Group, a worldwide outsourced product partner supporting premier content producers of live sports, entertainment, music and corporate events.  In such capacity, he leads a team of 3500+ employees that provide superior service with a focus on technical innovation – supporting productions in over 87 countries around the world. During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Rabbitt has led the acquisition and integration of over 30 companies into the NEP platform.  

As members of the Congruex executive team, Messrs. Marsh and O'Brien will work closely with company founders Bill Beans and Kevin O'Hara to grow Congruex's turn-key design, engineering, and construction offerings for the telecommunication and utility end markets. Mr. Marsh will lead sales and marketing efforts for all business units within Congruex, with a focus on revenue generation and customer diversification. Mr. O'Brien will lead Congruex's shared services platform and is responsible for overall application, network, development and desktop support, as well as all IT infrastructure.

BIOS OF KEVIN RABBITT, CHARLES MARSH, AND IAN O'BRIEN

Kevin Rabbitt has served as the CEO of NEP Group since January 2012, and as a member of its board of directors since December 2012, of which he is now Chairman. He also serves as a senior advisor at Crestview Partners. Prior to joining NEP, Mr. Rabbitt was the CEO of 3 Day Blinds, a manufacturer and multi-channel retailer of custom window coverings. He also worked for GES Exposition Services, a leading producer of face-to-face events and expositions. Mr. Rabbitt started as vice president of national operations and progressively advanced in the organization to EVP of products & services, chief operating officer and then president and CEO. Prior to GES, he was a consultant with Bain & Company.

Mr. Rabbitt holds a B.A. from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. 

Charles Marsh has served in a variety of executive positions in the telecommunication and technology industries. Mr. Marsh brings extensive sales experience working with large, incumbent service providers, leading cable operators and rural carriers.

Mr. Marsh was previously the senior vice president of global sales at ADTRAN, a leading global provider of networking and communications equipment, where he managed service deployment and strategic relationships around the world. Prior to ADTRAN, Mr. Marsh served in a range of leadership roles, including Managing Director at Xura, vice president of sales for the Americas at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and president of American sales for Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia).

Ian O'Brien has broad experience as a technology and operations executive. During his career, Mr. O'Brien has served in a range of C-suite roles and as a senior consultant to private equity firms to provide unique insights on strategy and growth.

Mr. O'Brien was previously a Director at RSM Consulting, leading business development and delivery efforts for private equity clients across the deal lifecycle. Prior to RSM Consulting, Mr. O'Brien served as a Managing Director at The Coverdale Group, Chief Solutions Officer at Four51, President & CEO at GiftCertificates.com, and Chief Technology Officer at Marlin Equity Partners.

Mr. O'Brien holds a B.S. and M.B.A. from Indiana University-Bloomington.
