(Pink Sheets: CTYX) is pleased to announce that it is co-sponsoring Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope and Stratus Racing during the nationwide race during Daytona 500 race week on February 13, 2010. In addition, Connectyx will be co-sponsoring twin nieces Amber and Angela Cope in the Camping World Truck series later in the season, www.twinmotorsportsracing.com. The MedFlash® graphics will appear on the "C Panel" of the teams AssetProtect Nationwide Dodge.
For the 2010 Daytona 500, Derrike Cope will be behind the wheel of the #73 AssetProtect Dodge Charger Sprint Cup car. For the racing season, Derrike will also drive the Nationwide series car and Camping World truck while drivers Amber and Angela Cope are slated for ARCA races and limited truck series appearances. Racing veterans Rick Markle and father Del Markle will oversee the team, engineering work and pit crew responsibilities. The team debuted its twin female drivers, Angela and Amber at the Daytona ARCA test session in December alongside Danica Patrick.
Dale Clemons will manage the teams administration and marketing.
