Consolidated Water Reschedules 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to Monday, August 17, 2020

GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands, April 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. (Nasdaq Global Select Market: CWCO), a leading developer and operator of advanced water supply and treatment plants, has rescheduled its 2020 annual meeting of shareholders for August 17, 2020. Shareholders of record as of June 15, 2020 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.

The meeting was moved to this later date due to public health concerns and travel restrictions related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as well as the company's continued desire to encourage and facilitate shareholder engagement.

Shareholder proposals intended to be presented for inclusion in the company's proxy statement and accompanying proxy for the annual meeting must be received by the secretary of the company at the following address on or before the close of business on June 24, 2020:
