Contract Research Organization WCCT Global Announces Dr. John Hong to Lead Gastroenterology Clinical Research

COSTA MESA, Calif., April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Today, WCCT Global announced that Dr. John Hong has joined the organization as the Head of GI Clinical Research. John Hong, MD, MBA brings many years of GI Clinical Care and Research experience to the role.   He is a graduate of the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals & Pritzker School of Medicine.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Gastroenterology.  His major fields of GI research have been in HCV and IBD.  Dr. Hong will serve as Principal Investigator for Gastroenterology clinical trials for WCCT Global and therefore greatly expand the WCCT Global research capabilities by virtue of his vast experience in the field of GI research and his access to patients suffering from multiple GI disorders.

Moreover, Dr. Hong has obtained an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and is CEO of American Cardiac Education Specialists (ACES). Dr. Hong remains an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, Southern California Society of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. With Dr. Hong joining WCCT Global, he brings his capabilities of 11 sites & large network of patients to WCCT Global.
