ConvergEx Announces Strong Continued Demand for Eze OMS

NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- ConvergEx Group, a leading provider of investment technologies and execution solutions to institutional clients worldwide, today announced that it continues to experience strong global demand for its award-winning order management system, the Eze OMS™.  Following a third straight year of 60 plus wins in 2009, over 20 new clients signed on with Eze during the first quarter of 2010.   Uptake of the next generation Eze Compliance module, a proprietary tool that allows clients to run pre and post-trade compliance checks in real time, has also been strong.  Eze Compliance went live with a record 49 clients in 2009.

• Record number of wins in the traditional asset management space in 2009, driven by a surge in the number of firms replacing their existing OMS with the Eze OMS
• Continued strong growth in the uptake of the Eze OMS's embedded EMS Module, with 37% year-over-year growth
• Released next generation Eze Compliance module with new user interface and expanded rule library.  Strong positive market reaction to new version combined with increasingly complex regulatory environment, including an uptick in UCITS funds, resulted in Eze Compliance sales more than doubling in 2009
• Over 25 clients have signed on for the new Eze Locate module, Eze's fully integrated, next generation tool for automating the short locate process
• The Eze OMS now provides data integration with 250 providers, including administrators, prime brokers, custodians, accounting systems, risk systems, settlement platforms and market data vendors. Over 60 new providers were added in 2009
• The Eze OMS also now delivers access to a total of 450 liquidity destinations and nearly 600 algorithmic strategies across equities, options, futures and FX
• Additionally, the Eze OMS now monitors and supports nearly 2,500 data interface connections and over 15,000 FIX connections in real time during all global market hours
