Convergint Technologies Offers Free Summer Security Checklist To Help Schools STEP Up Security
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its new STEP Up school security initiative, Convergint Technologies, a worldwide leader in service-based systems integration, is offering a free downloadable checklist for K-12 schools who want to audit their physical security.
The STEP Up program – standing for secure, train, educate and protect – launched June 8 as part of Convergint's annual social responsibility day. Convergint, who has worked with thousands of schools over the past 18 years, is offering a free "Summer School Security Checklist" with guidelines for school administrators and faculty that help ensure all school safety and security systems are fully operational. These general tips can be combined with the formal school and first responder protocols to make sure that buildings are in top shape at the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
