Coro Medical and Project ADAM Partnered to Donate 31 Lifesaving AEDs in August Across 23 States Through Project AED365

Nationwide initiative expanded heart safety programs and equipped schools and communities with critical defibrillators

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Sept. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Coro Medical, a leader in life-saving medical devices, announced its latest Project AED365 partnership with Project ADAM (Automated Defibrillators in Adam's Memory), donating 31 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in August to schools, youth sports organizations, and community groups in 23 states.

Project AED365 is Coro Medical's nationwide initiative to donate one AED per day for a year, ensuring that life-saving devices are accessible in the communities that need them most. Through this partnership with Project ADAM—a program with affiliates at children's hospitals across 35 states—these donations bolstered heart safety initiatives nationwide and further protected children and adults from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Founded in 1999 after the sudden cardiac arrest death of 17-year-old Adam Lemel, Project ADAM has helped designate over 6,000 "Heart Safe Schools" and is estimated to have saved at least 250 lives by equipping schools and community organizations with AEDs and emergency response plans.

Each AED donated through Project AED365 includes a ZOLL AED 3 provided by ZOLL Medical, 3 years of AED365 Pro Program Management, a seat in HSI's Remote Skills Verification (RSV) CPR/AED/First Aid certification course, and a LifeVac anti-choking device, ensuring recipients have both the equipment and training needed to save lives.
