CPCA Partners with PMG to Offer Members Revenue Cycle Management Services
New service will assist health centers in collecting outstanding debt, financial stability
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) announced it has partnered with Priority Management Group, Inc., (PMG) to provide revenue cycle management services to its members. PMG is the nation's leader of Revenue Cycle Management solutions and has more than 10 years of experience in billing services working solely with community clinics and health centers.
"Our members are non-profit community clinics and health centers, many of which operate on paper-thin margins. The ability to collect unpaid earned revenue in a more timely and efficient manner will result in an immediate benefit for our members, and allow them to focus on what's really important – the health of their patients," said CPCA President and CEO Carmela Castellano-Garcia. "Because PMG focuses exclusively on the revenue cycle management of community clinics and health centers, we found that their service line was the best fit for our members. We have a long history of working with PMG and we look forward to building on that into the future."
PMG focuses solely on community health center revenue cycle management — including coding, billing and reimbursement — and works to optimize each client's financial position, legally and ethically. Recognizing the mission of community health centers, PMG takes a unique approach to collections, emphasizing the application of proven billing processes. Thus, helping to increase revenue from third-party payers, and allow health centers to better deliver quality health care to the uninsured and underserved.
"PMG is proud to partner with the California Primary Care Association, which represents more than 900 community clinics and health centers in the state. This partnership will help the health centers in California access the revenue cycle management services they need at a rate they can afford providing them with financial stability, and allowing health center staff to focus on serving the health care needs of their communities," said PMG vice president Robert Skeffington. "PMG is pleased to welcome CPCA to our growing network and we look forward to a long, mutually rewarding relationship."
PMG will be offering CPCA members the following revenue cycle management services:
- Billing
