The entire 17 halls in SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Centre) were used in the 2014 event, gathering a one-stop purchasing platform for the whole industry chain including APIs, biopharmaceuticals, finished dosage, pharmaceutical machinery, packaging equipment & material, food ingredients & machinery, nutraceutical & health products. The 12 halls for the pharma industry attracted 2,540 exhibitors on site. Although the event encountered with the weekend and heavy rains, visitors still showed their great passion for the top leading brands and latest trends. The total number of visits achieved 63,331 in the 3-day show, which definitely reveals the exhibition's leading status in the pharma and food industry.
Nine industry divisions were presented in the 2014 event: ICSE & BioPh China in Hall E3 focused on biopharmaceutical R&D; NEX China again enlarged its scale in E3 & E4 with latest products and technology in the natural extract field; the new finished dosage area in Hall W3 aimed at leading domestic companies in global trade market, and its thematic forums and Q&A sessions received great effect onsite. LABWorld China attracted high flow of visitors with many newly launched laboratory equipment in Hall W5; a brilliant purchasing channel of pharma machinery, packaging, environmental protection and clean techonolgy was also built for all buyers in Hall N1-N3.
Forums & Conferences show Leading Industry Trends
A total of 6 high-end forums, 10 industry conferences & 48 technical seminars were held onsite, bringing together 166 experts and over 2,000 professional attendees. Voices of industry leaders & experts from worldwide pharmaceutical sections spread in the meeting rooms of the different zonings. All the onsite forums & conferences added special value to the event itself.
It is worth mentioning that professional meetings on pharmaceutical R&D received extensive attention among onsite visitors. The 4th CPhI.cn Buyer Sourcing Event' achieved a new success with 89 buyers, 415 sessions of negotiation, 1,320 purchasing products of 24 sections in API, natural extracts, biopharmaceutical, pharma machinery, pharma packaging and etc, altogether bringing an integrated platform for pharmaceutical industry online and offline.
