CPqD Selects Aricent as Software Partner for LTE eNodeB Solutions for Global Markets

The framework will be used to develop innovative and competitive LTE RAN solutions for global markets, including Brazil.

The joint solution was recently showcased to the Brazilian Communications Ministry by demonstrating the comprehensive, over-the-air transmission capabilities of LTE technology for the 450 MHz band which is currently the proposed band from the Brazilian government to promote the growth of broadband wireless access in rural areas all over the country.
