Credit Suisse to Host Philanthropy Campus With the NYU-SCPS George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Credit Suisse will hold its second annual Philanthropy Campus, a global program developed in collaboration with the George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS Heyman Center), on September 5-7. The program will take place on the NYU campus.

Comprised of a series of classroom sessions tailored specifically for its ultra-high net worth clients, the Credit Suisse Philanthropy Campus is designed to equip the Bank's clients from around the world with the knowledge and the tools necessary to advance an existing philanthropic endeavor or to launch a new one. The curriculum will address the most pressing issues facing today's philanthropists, including ethical behavior, technological challenges, accountability, and changing regulations that affect traditional giving as well as social investing.

To complement its comprehensive agenda, the Philanthropy Campus will feature private visits to world-renowned nonprofit institutions in New York, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
