Crow Holdings Capital - Real Estate Closes Crow Holdings Realty Partners VII At $1.85 Billion

DALLAS, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Crow Holdings Capital – Real Estate ("CHC-Real Estate"), a North America-focused asset manager of private equity real estate funds, announced the successful closing of Crow Holdings Realty Partners VII ("Fund VII") at $1.85 billion in capital commitments in December 2015.
CHC-Real Estate also closed its inaugural Crow Holdings Retail Fund at $295 million in June 2015, underscoring significant market opportunities in the retail sector.

Consistent with CHC-Real Estate's prior funds, Fund VII intends to pursue an investment strategy focused on acquiring a diverse portfolio of assets that generates current income and benefits from capital appreciation. The Fund intends to acquire investments in various asset classes including industrial, retail, office, multi-family, convenience stores and gas stations, hotel and self-storage. Investment strategies include both the acquisition of existing assets and new development.
