The centerpiece of the new CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS experience is the Power Series, an incredible lineup of educational programming that begins with Boardroom Sessions—featuring executive level insights—and continues with Speed Sessions and the exclusive Disruptathon, two tracks that showcase the coolest technologies from around the world and the most promising enterprise apps.
In addition, CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS 2011 is home to 20 developer events, including keynotes, exhibit floor pavilions, sessions and partner programs—as well as 26 enterprise and vertical market events. In creating this year's show, CTIA leverages nearly 20 years of experience to secure in-depth, educational programming from a dynamic and powerful partner network.
Other distinguishing facets of this year's event include:
- Mobile Strategies from Major, Non-mobile Brands, including Aetna, American Express, Anheuser-Busch, Cadillac, Groupon, Polycom and Sesame Workshop.
- Mobilizing Hollywood—Insight on cross-platform "story-telling" from groups such as the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences. Afterwards, attendees can meet Hollywood players in a special networking reception to discuss opportunities to collaborate using mobile.
- Speed Geeking—Android and iOS app developers battle it out in the Mobile Platform Challenge, comprised of exciting, fast-paced speed geeking rounds. Attendees crown the winner of all apps to receive a $25,000 promotional prize from CTIA Shows. This event is organized by CTIA and CloudMob.
- Nine Networking Events—CTIA Shows offers this year's attendees nine unique opportunities to meet new potential partners and clients.
- Global Innovations—Enterprise Lithuania and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will present a wide range of companies from their respective countries in their new pavilions.
- Awards, Accolades and Contests—This year's event features four awards programs and ceremonies: CTIA's third annual Hot for the Holidays awards, two grand promotional prizes worth $25,000 each, and the CTIA Tag It to Win It! Contest, where attendees scan tags for eight chances to win an Xbox 360 4GB console with Kinect.
"CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS is overhauled and revamped to reflect the new mobile ecosystem with radically different rules. This tradeshow fuses the rising stars of content with the existing order of brands, networks and devices. CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS has undergone a similar transformation that mobility has experienced in the last 20 years," said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director of CTIA.
