CU SoCal Donates More Than $340,000 to Strengthen Southern California Communities

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal) recently donated more than $340,000 to nonprofit organizations, educational programs, youth development initiatives, and community services across Southern California. Distributed throughout the summer, the contributions supported organizations serving Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

The donations supported a wide range of community-driven efforts focused on education, youth development, wellness, and essential services, including:

• $35,000 for Soroptimist International of Whittier and the Whittier Host Lions Club.
  
  
• $34,000 for families served by Ronald McDonald House Pasadena.
  
  
• $25,000 in combined support for Interfaith Food Center and the Welcome Home Project at Whittier Community Church.

Additional contributions supported local schools, youth organizations, educational and scholarship programs, community wellness efforts, and services for individuals and families throughout the region.
