Customized Learning for NAWBO Institute Is Made Possible Through E.W. Kauffman Foundation Grant
New Feature Aims to Educate Women Business Owners and Help More Reach $1 Million in Revenue
WASHINGTON, Sept. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development is enhancing its educational offerings with an AI-driven resource, made possible by a capacity-building grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. This tool, named after NAWBO's founder, Susan Hager, will provide tailored, on-demand resources and training for women entrepreneurs.
"We're honored to support organizations breaking down barriers to opportunity," says Dr. DeAngela Burns Wallace, President and CEO of the Kauffman Foundation. "Our grants aim to strengthen non-profits that drive career growth and entrepreneurship."
The new tool will launch at the NAWBO Institute's Goal Getter Summit on October 10 at the CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, MO. The kick-off event, sponsored by Bank of America, will feature a keynote by Magie Cook, an entrepreneur panel, and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business alliances in the region.
A limited number of tickets and sponsor opportunities remain for this afternoon of inspiration, innovation, and impact. Join leading women business owners who are driving the U.S. economy forward, and put your brand front and center with this powerful community. Tickets are just $30 (a donation to the Institute) and available here. Interested in sponsoring? Contact [email protected].
The capacity-building grant will enable the NAWBO Institute to help women business owners reach the $1 million revenue mark, a milestone currently achieved by only 1.9 percent of them. The Institute offers the Circle program for those who reach this level. The NAWBO Institute provides resources and educational programs at no cost, thanks to various sponsors.
"We are deeply thankful to the Kauffman Foundation for their commitment to entrepreneurship," says Lynda Bishop, NAWBO Institute's Vice President of National Programs. "This support will help us foster sustainable growth for women business owners at all stages."
