Similarly, advancements in machine learning have led to growth in autonomous driving. Data shows that the global market for self-driving cars is expected to continue climbing steadily at a CAGR of 14 percent from 2018 to 2024,⁴ and by 2030 autonomous cars will account for 12 percent of global car registrations.⁵
