Co-presented by CW™ Hemp and Brain Unity Trust, CTE, Concussion and CBD is a thought leadership sports panel composed of former players from the NFL and NHL intended to advance the discussion on how the use of cannabinoids, specifically CBD, may help treat and prevent the onset of symptoms associated with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and traumatic brain injury.

The panel will be moderated by NFL great Leonard Marshall and feature former NFL players Jim McMahon, Nate Jackson, Charlie Adams, and Eben Britton and NHL enforcer Riley Cote. Other panelists include Heather Jackson, CEO of the Realm of Caring Foundation and Marcel O. Bonn-Miller Ph.D, Laboratory Director / Principal Investigator at the Center for Innovation to Implementation (Ci2i).

CW™ Hemp helped bring national attention to this issue when it partnered with the Realm of Caring Foundation and Johns Hopkins University to launch 'When the Bright Lights Fade', a campaign to raise funds for a series of studies exploring how the use of cannabinoids can help professional athletes who are at risk for traumatic brain injury. With the help of NFL players Eugene Monroe, Jake Plummer, Nate Jackson and many others, the campaign successfully raised over $100,000 toward these studies.
