SEATTLE, Nov. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Savvy deal-seekers take note: Alaska Airlines' biggest sale of the year is just around the corner and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The sale begins at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Sunday, Nov. 27 at alaskaair.com.

In advance of this year's sale, Alaska's data analysts dug into the 2015 numbers to learn what Cyber Monday shoppers have in common. They found that after the long holiday weekend, shoppers are looking for quick getaways and breaks from family: Cyber Monday shoppers are more likely to book solo and kid-free travel than any other type of trip, and were most interested in long weekends away.
